Vintage knit pattern for a 1934 Wedding Dress or Evening Gown Lacy with Long Sleeves, called the "Velveen Bridal Dress."

"WEDDING BELLS-Marina--As lovely as the royal princess for whom it is named. A cobwebby lace design knitted on large needles in an incredibly short length of time. In White Velveen, it is the conventional bridal gown--in the brilliant Velveen colors it is suitable for many other events."

Yarn - Minerva Velveeen, 8 balls

Minerva Velveen was a 2-ply lace-weight yarn, with a crepe-like texture. The skeins of yarn were approx. 300 yards each. Some of the Velveen yarns were 100% wool.
