This is a very ecclectic, but cool vintage paper ephemera or vintage collector lot. I kept calling this lot the "housekeeping lot," because of all the cool pieces in it. This is great for the collector of vintage paper relics, or vintage cookbooks, or patterns. Could also be very cool for your mixed media designs as it includes handwritten portions, and early advertisements. Please convo me for additional shipping locations. All items included in pic #1. This lot includes:

*Early 1900's Cookbook- "The Rumford Complete Cookbook." This book is in a bit of a rough condition on the outside, but the inside pages are intact (with cook's notes to boot!) This book is full of unique early recipes, and even interesting sections like "Caring for the Infirm." Could be great to add to your collection, or for paper ephemera in your art or mixed media.

*Yearbook- marked 1918, but handwritten in the 1970's by the owner. This is such a cool piece. At a time when keeping your household in order and raising a family was a priority to most midwestern ladies, this book is full of handwritten recipes and ones pulled from mags (like Poorman's Fruitcake), Ask Heloise columns about how to get stains out- deal with the in- laws, etc, articles on housekeeping, illnesses and health articles. It also has info. on diabetic recipes, household hints, and early remedies for heartburn, toothache, etc.

*Miss Parloa's New Cookbook; Copyright 1880, published in Minneapolis, has recipes like Calf's Foot Jelly, Black Pudding, Chestnut Sauce, and Oyster Croquettes.

*Scrapbook- includes pictures of household rooms, costs, budget, and curtain designs from the '60's and '70's probably, a picture of how wearing heels affects your posture, how to set a table, q & a's about entertaining and history, and building.

*A "Neighborhood Gossip & Dream Book," by Dr. Pierce

*Early McCall Pattern 6072 for Ladies and Misses Beach Pajamas
