This beautiful round tin has an enamel-type white finish with raised white figures and a gorgeous blue background. The lid has a molded plastic insert of a beautiful dancing greecian woman and cherub.

Unlike similar tins, where the underside of the lid features a description of this reproduction of an 18th century Wedgewood plaque, this lid is blank. However, I imagine this was made for the same company (Ward Foods, Inc., New York, NY) and for the same purpose (to hold Paradise Fruitcake).

The tin measures about 8.25" wide and about 3.5" deep. I believe this was made by Guildcraft NEW YORK, USA. It is in vintage condition and, as such, there is some wear. Please review the photos before placing your order.
