Meet the Halloween costume crew—Fairy Bear, Kawaii Pumpkin, Clown, Autumn Owl, Kitty, Frank and Happy Bat. This PDF format tutorial will teach you to make all of the pumpkin figures shown here including the shiny ones. Learn to create your own hand sculpted candy pails for your dolls, or use these as ornaments for a spooky tree.

This tutorial is your complete guide to making miniature pumpkin art using polymer clay. The tutorial is 50 pages long and features 114 full color photos to walk you through every pumpkin making method shown here.

Let me tell you a little about these pumpkins. I have made similar styles three Halloweens in a row and every year they have sold out immediately—I am telling you, there is high demand for adorable miniature candy pails—these have been popular online and at shows. If you don't wish to sell your work and you just wanna make some pumpkins, I recommend these to you as well, because they are fun :). You can make pumpkins styled for a special friend or coworker or to perfectly match a doll's costume. And these aren't just for doll collectors. I have seen them in shadow boxes, hanging on Halloween trees, and starring as props in a mini Halloween scene. They can hold tiny candies or useful things like paperclips (or both if you are feeling greedy).

This item is a PDF format tutorial accessible through any PDF reader, including the Books app on your ipad. The actual pails shown here are not included with this tutorial.

This tutorial is written with the beginner in mind, so even if you have never sculpted before, you can still enjoy making pumpkins. Those of you with experience in clay will be happy to know that the projects are chronologically designed and the same information is not disclosed more than once--this means you receive 50 pages of information with little or no redundancy.

My two-part tutorial will teach you:
• The basics of pumpkin sculpting--written for beginners so anyone can make a pumpkin, even kids
• Tools and supplies you will need, including specific brands I use and where I order materials
• How to embellish your pumpkin using powders, texture and pigments
• Learn to make 7 different character pumpkins each with different techniques involved--sculpt eyes, ears, muzzles, noses, hair, bows, flowers and use techniques such as backfill to create strong features.
• Learn to add embellishments such as decorative papers, custom handles and wings to your pumpkin.
• Extra tips and ideas to make your project a success (such as how to hold your pumpkin and keep it clean while you sculpt)
• You will come away from this tutorial with the knowledge to design most any pumpkin pail you desire :]

Yes! You can make a profit from the pumpkin pails you create using this tutorial! The only limitation I have on these tutorials lies with the content itself—you may not sell or redistribute the tutorial text, patterns or photos without my written consent. In addition, products made for sale must be made by the purchaser (not a factory). No acknowledgement is necessary, however it is always appreciated :].

How can I know this tutorial will be awesome?

A final word of caution. Making tiny pumpkins may cause cravings for roasted pumpkin seeds (A great brain food!). And possibly pie.
