This line of faceted wood stone jewelry is handmade by me, including the wood stone shapes. I wanted to find a material that I could create my own cut stone work and these are the second series I have made. This set is made of Cedar gathered from deadfall in Idaho. I oil them lightly so they will retain their soft shine. I carved the stones in Idaho and created the crochet and finished ring in my art studio on coast in San Francisco.

The stone is about inches (5 cm tall) and is different on each face so you can wear it whichever way you prefer. The white silver finish chain is accented with asymetrical crochet in a light seafoam/mint green. The chain finishes with a bright glass bead and lobster clasp which is adjustable by moving a jump ring, or I can do it for you if you leave a note as you check out. The total length of the chain is 30" (74cm), so it is a medium long necklace as is.

The last two photos show my recent ring set and a coordinating ring available in my shop.

My jewelry is vegan, composed of crocheted cottons, glass, crystal, wood, stones, and metal findings. I'm a vegetarian myself. The antler I use in some of my photos was found by me while hiking with my Dad in Idaho and was naturally shed and bleached by the sun as it lay in the desert.

I use findings mainly from Italy and threads from France as well as occasional vintage and found materials. In my personal life and my arts business I avoid goods made in nations that don't have similar standards of environmental and human rights as the United States. I ship using cardboard mailers that are recyclable (for priority shipping) and 100% recyclable padded mailers, no bubble plastic, (for small items like earrings). I mention these choices as I know this is important to many buyers of handmade and I'm happy to be part of our brighter future through micro business, ideas produced at a human scale, and person to person trades of goods and services. I am open to suggestions for improvement, collaboration, and public art~please message me via Etsy if you are looking to make connections!
