Great pair of Pheasants!! These are great for fall decorating; the pair looks great on a bookcase or tablescape. They are redware and were made in Japan by Wales. There is a partial sticker left on the base of one bird.

These are a beautiful example of redware. You see lots of traditional style bookends, teapots and banks but these are more uncommon. They are in excellent vintage condition, no chips or crazing. There is some glaze/paint worn off one birds face area please see the picture, but overall these are beautiful! Each bird measure 8" in length and 3" at the widest point.
