Henryk Winograd
Born 1917 in Poland
Died 2008 in USA

His lineage included several generations of Russian Silversmiths.
He is considered one of the great silversmiths of the 20th Century.
If you care to google his name, there is plenty of information on the internet regarding the prolific works of Mr. Winograd.

But, what you won't find is another devil like this one. I believe it to be rare, as an exhaustive search turn up nothing quite like this. You will find angels, cherubs, beautiful ladies, but no demons or gargoyles.

Mr. Winograd worked in 999 fine silver, using the techniques of repoussé and chasing.
His work is always marked, as is this one "HW999". Of course 999 has more silver content than 925 sterling silver.

You can display this as a small object d'art, or add a cord or chain of your choosing and wear it as a necklace.

Not for the timid or faint of heart.
