Witch's Feast

A mysterious perfume inspired by bread masks worn at spring carnival in a small village, and seductively aromatic kitchen herbs with magical traditions.

A mask baked of bread, to chase winter away,
Bay leaves for prophecy since the oracle of Delphi,
Apple and Cardamom love magic.
Mint flowers for Venus,
Juniper for Jupiter,
Mugwort for dreaming.
Spells whispered into the bark of an oak tree,
A sacred feast by candlelight.

Made with green tinctures of blooming Wild Mint and Mugwort, and Bay leaves which surprise with their complexity: lemony top, floral notes, at once juicy and carrying the dryness of a desert. November’s last countryside apples sparkling with spices, a wild harvest of Juniper and mushrooms. Featuring a sourdough bread accord, created partly by capturing the smoke of fresh bread. The smokiness is softly amplified by burning Bay leaves, dark Oak leaves and a moody Oudh.

In Bodnegg, Germany, a local fool’s guild bakes elaborate masks out of bread to parade in early spring carnivals. Something about this was haunting and really caught my imagination.

Infused with selenite for clarity, and adorned with a meal blessing sigil on the label, created by Melissa!

Featured notes: Greek Bay leaf tincture + smoke, Sourdough bread accord, Wild Mint and Mugwort Flowers, Cardamom, Apple, Juniper, Oak leaf, Mushroom, Beeswax, Oudh.

Ingredients: organic cane alcohol, infused botanicals + smoke, plant derived essential oils and absolutes, beeswax.

Apply to well moisturized skin, preferably over a balm containing beeswax which coats the skin. This is an all natural perfume with unique ephemeral notes, after which a veil of smoky oak leaf and oudh will persist longer.
