Please find for sale an antique Wedgwood cameo medallion. The subject of this cameo, modelled as a classical bas-relief, is Coriolanus.

Josiah Wedgwood (1739-1795) first produced his Jasper ware, a fine-grained stoneware, at his factory Etruria in Staffordshire, England, in 1774.

The cameo is marked to the reverse with the impressed WEDGWOOD mark, this dates it between 1780 and 1860. The cameo is in very good antique condition but there is a small chip to the back edge.

Weight 12.7g
Diameter 1 1/2 inch / 39mm

This cameo will be sent internationally by Royal Mail Airsure, a signed-for service, and within the UK by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
