An adorable image of a sweet looking little girl in a cute little plaid outfit - plus, check out her striped socks! it's just too much cuteness!

A good exposure, yellowed with age. Cheeks are hand tinted pink. Some scratches, and light surface soil. No bends or creases. Generally good condition for what it is and for it's great age. A real find!

These make great decor, and add a distinctive antique intrigue to crafts and art projects, or for making your imaginary family tree!

Just under 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches.

What is a tintype? An early photograph, from the last half of the 1800s. Light sensitive emulsion coating a thin piece of metal. Unlike modern photographic processes, this process did not create a negative, meaning that every tintype is one of a kind, completely unique! Tintypes are an important part of photographic history - their relative inexpensiveness and sturdiness made them available to a wider audience, making photography the most democratic of art processes!
