This brooch is so intriguing. It has what appears to be a Moorish harbor scene with subtle colors that are very attractive. The pin is edged in gold leaf and the back is plaster of Paris. There are a few chips in the gold leaf but nothing that is noticeable when you are looking at the pin head on. It's sure to attract lots of interest!

Your pin will arrive in a pretty organza bag.

Thank you for looking!

All of the jewelry items in my shop are gentle pieces that should be treated with care. Please do not get your piece of jewelry wet. Take if off before washing your hands, showering and swimming. Please avoid contact with soaps and lotions. Be sure to store the jewelry in a jewelry box or air tight container, especially those created with raw brass.
A lot of the jewelry in my shop is made using raw brass. This means there is no finish applied to the metal. Raw brass has a nice brightness to it that I like - and I hope you will as well.

Raw brass will patina over time. In order to make the raw brass bright again, you can use Brasso which you can find at your local supermarket or at Home Depot. Be sure to use a gentle hand when polishing with a lint-free cloth and try to polish along the grain of the metal (not in circles). And please be sure to polish only the brass, not any other component of the jewelry!
