This postcard would be perfect to add to your collection, as decoration, to send to someone, scrapbooking and other art projects.

The postcard is in OK condition with a lot of wear. It is used, stamped and postmarked. The stamp is a mauve 80 cts Correo Aereo Mexico stamp with a city view? on it. T can't really make out the postmark. The postcard is published by Editorial Mexico, S, A. Greeting cards created by Fischgrund. Marcolor.

Printed on the back of the card:
'Emperatriz Carlota
Castillo de Chapultepec
Mexico, D. F.'

Handwritten on the back of the card:
'Monday
Hi - Wish you were here - we really do for you would both enjoy it very much. We are leaving for Taxco today but have a feeling it's a "tourist trap". But we are afraid not to go for fear we will miss something. Adios - Reuben + ML.'

The card is addressed to:
'Chas Drew
11660 Murriel Drive
(Lynwood?), Calif.
U.S.A.'

Emperatriz Carlota (1840 - 1927) was a Princess of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria, Grand Master of the Order of St. Charles and Empress of Mexico. She's an incredibly fascinating woman who I can't possibly do any justice here. Please look her up, you won't regret it!!!!

I started collecting vintage postcards and stamps a couple of years ago. I hope you love them as much as I do! My cards and stamps can be used for collecting, sending, scrapbooking, making jewelry, book covers, paintings and many other different types of art projects.

Each order comes with a bonus random card or stamp from my collection.
