Old and original...this lot of 12 hard celluloid plastic goat charms are all hand-painted and marked JAPAN. These were made before WW II in the late 1930s. They were intended to be hung from school/college pins among other things. These, in fact, represented NAVY...Bill the Goat is the Naval Academy's mascot since the 1800s.

These charms are still on the original colorful strings...bound with a string which which is why they're all huddled together...just as they were made. Each charm measures 1 1/4 inches across by 1 1/4 inch high. They're all in minty condition, just as we found them over 40 years ago (when we first started in business)... warehoused by the original importer.
