This amazing float is out of my personal collection. I have to do a little scaling back & this fabulous float has to go to a new home! It's a total gem!!

This beauty is actually pink. It was clear at one point, but has manganese dioxide in the glass. When subjected to sunlight, a float with this in the glass will turn pink. It also has a side spindle & some great bubbles throughout. It is about 12" in diameter & was used for long-line fishing. Often miles of fishing nets were used & the floats needed to be larger diameter to support the weight of the nets. This float was hand blown from recycled glass & is at least 60 years old, but most likely closer to 80 years old!!!

The price reflects the uniqueness of the float. It would be a wonderful addition to a collection!

Glass fishing floats are ideal for home/beach/nautical decor, outdoor decor & ponds, and they make unique recycled gifts!

All of the floats I sell were once used for fishing, or considered working floats. I don't sell fakes, reproductions, colored contemporaries, or those meant for the gift trade.

THIS FLOAT WILL BE SENT VIA PARCEL POST UNLESS THE BUYER REQUESTS PRIORITY MAIL DUE TO THE COST OF SHIPPING!!! PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED PRIORITY MAIL. BUYER WILL NEED TO COVER ANY ADDITIONAL SHIPPING FEES.

NEW SHIPPING POLICY: Due to the increase in international shipping charges, I will gladly send any boxes under 4 pounds via first-class mail. It is much less expensive, but will take quite a bit longer to receive. If you would like your floats sent this way, please message me or make a note when you make your purchase. I will refund the difference in shipping charges.

For example, I just sent a single 3" float to the UK. Priority was $28. First-class mail was just under $10. I sent a 3" float to Australia for $13.00.
