East End China Company
Pitcher
Embossed Pink Trim, Purple & White Flowers

This antique pitcher was made by the East End China Company (ca. 1905-1909, previously called East End Pottery, after 1909, it became Trenle China), of East Liverpool, Ohio. It is decorated in lovely sprays of rich purple-pink and white flowers, with pink embossed trim and handle on a white body.

This older piece measures 6.25 inches high and about 5.5 inches wide across the foot. It is in good to very good condition, especially for its age. There is some wear to the pink trim around the spout and foot, and severl pinpoing brown dots appear around the bottom (see photo at right, or closeups at top). There are no cracks or hairlines, and the inside is very clean as well.

The pitcher has a round green crown mark (underglaze) for "E.E.C.Co. Porcelain."
