Coaster made on my incredible Willcox & Gibbs 1903 chain stitch treadle sewing machine, see the last two photos.
Corners are mitered and hemmed to back.
Has two layers of pre-shrunk 100% cotton batting in center to absorb and cotton print front and back.
Red tatting thread was used to chain stitch hem in place, shows the chain stitch on the front side.
Coaster is signed, Treadle Lady, on the back in an archival permanent pen.
Measures almost 5 inches square.

Convo if you would like a custom order made on this fabulous sewing machine. This 109 year old iron lady is nicknamed "Gibson Girl" because she is of that era.
