About the wool:
Approximately 8 oz. of lovely, natural colored Dorset roving. This wool is soft, and I found it to be very easy to spin. In my experience, it does not felt, but it should take dye beautifully. The photos of the roving were taken in outside in early morning light. I'd describe the color as light brown heather, but some might call it a greyish brown. I think it is beautiful as is, but overdyeing a natural colored wool can also yield spectacular results.

I bought the raw fleece at a fiber festival and had it processed into roving. I love it, but I am finding that my fiber room has a finite amount of space, and the spring shearing of the Leicester Longwools will soon start, so I need to destash.

If you would like a different amount of roving, please contact me--I'm happy to oblige.
PLEASE NOTE: Shipping costs are my best estimate. I will refund to you any shipping cost overage over $1.00.
