Technics Quartz Direct Drive Turntable SL-1800MK2

This is a vintage 1970's era Technics turntable. It has a silver finish with a clear plastic lid. The platter is aluminum alloy die-cast and has 33 and 45rpm speeds. It has a pop up stylus light, and the adjustable pitch control with LED readout. The tone arm is universal static balance type.

Any phono made before '95 requires a phono amp. You can also purchase separate pre-amps that connect your turntable to a computer via a USB port or the more standard audio red/white plug set. Thanks to Nathan Loiselle for this information.

Also, it runs at 33 rpm only. 45 rpm does not work. All the funky retro lights work. There is a large scuff mark on the lid and some scratches and dings but the turntable is clean and undamaged.

It weights 20lbs so shipping is expensive. If you live in the Atlantic City area and would like to pick it up, please contact me so we can make arrangements.
