This little ring dish was wheel thrown in a speckled brown stoneware clay and glazed in sea mist. It is a shallow bowl shape that will hold necklaces and earrings as well as rings. I've decorated the side of the dish with a little bird and accented the center ring holder with some texture for added interest.

It is the perfect kind of dish to have in your kitchen or bathroom to hold your rings and other jewelry.

I pressed a spiral design in the base (just like my spoon rests) and the little ring holder sits right in the middle of it.

It's about 5 inches in diameter. The height of the bowl is 7/8 inch, to the top of the bird it's about 1 3/4 inches and to the top of the ring holder it's about 2 inches tall.

This glaze is a very deep, rich blue/green. It really should be called stormy sea - there's nothing misty about it! The photos are very accurate but your monitor may affect how you view the color.

Fired to cone 5 in an electric kiln.
