Dancing within the silvery sheen of star-speckled moonbeams, pixies cast their woeful call, to conjure their prince from his Night blooming halls.

This is a very unusual and rare wall pocket, free standing planter or vase. It depicts what appears to be a Night Blooming Cactus that has a princely figure emerging from its center in a soaring stance. This plant is also called the The Fairy Castle Cactus. The 3d prince is adorned with a crown and a gold and white jacket and shirt. The blossom is pink and the leaves a minty green. The pocket measures approx. 5" tall, 4 1/8" wide and 2" deep. Stamped on the bottom "HB 2133", more than likely made in japan. In excellent vintage condition. No cracks, breaks, crazing, or paint loss, only minor wear to the rim of the base. The other flaws were done during manufacturing, a small chip under glaze on the back upper rim and a bit of over painting on the boys hair, flower and leaf edge.
