Original, hand-drawn, digital illustration of an original series tricorder from Star Trek. I had a fan-made prop of a tricorder as a kid and it was always one of my most prized possessions. Mine came complete with a black leather strap as well as lights plus sounds. I wanted to do it justice on paper to try and capture the play of light on the mottled plastic and metal surfaces. It was a challenge but also very fun. I think Mr. Spock would be proud.

Created on an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil by the artist.

What a gorgeous print this is! I was very pleased with the quality of the print and frame. The framing is very professional and even came with the hanger for the wall. The packaging was impressive as well. The print came wrapped in bubble wrap and was fully protected. Also, the artwork just looks amazing on my wall.

The incredible detail in this artwork makes evident this is the work of a talented artist and a true Trekkie. Beautifully done AND accurate for original series Star Trek canon. The print itself is high-quality and paired with very nice matting and framing. I was also very impressed with the care taken with the packaging used for shipping. I’m starting to wonder what other GedsArtDepot works would look good on my walls.
