This is a first edition print of Rudyard Kipling's Rewards and Fairies from 1910. Published by Doubleday, Paige and Company. The is one of the rare few books that has a swastika stamp on the second left page. Around the 1920's he removed the swastikas because he didn't want to be associated as sympathizing with the Nazi. Before the 1920's the symbol was seen as offering peace and good luck in India.
