This series is created in collaboration with talented glassblowers and painters, who with tremendous skills, are able to work on a delicate 3Dimensional form.
The process begins with blowing the glass into the metal mold.
When the shapes are complete, the inner ornament is coated with silver.
This produces not only impressive reflection [it is now a mirror] but also through the multiple layers of lacquers, produces considerable depth of color.
And again, we go to extraordinarily skilled artists to pull off the layers of color and precision work that our designs require.
