Short Story Long:
Ardebil/Ardabil is a historic city in Northwest Iran known for its carpet weaving. Some beautiful geometric carpets come out of Ardebil, and they are no strangers to color! This piece is no exception, with its shades of aubergine and rose.
This particular rug is in great shape. The pile, edges and fringe are all intact, and there is minimal to no showroom wear. Because of its sturdy construction, this piece would be perfect in a foyer or other high-traffic area. The pattern could be dressed up or down depending on your mood or furnishings, and it's geometric pattern might let you slip in its feminine colors into your home. It's a manly purple, honey!
