1970's French White Sleeveless Smocked, Lace Romper

≈Description≈
This is a beautiful white sleeveless combed cotton romper with hand smocking and lace trim from the 1970s. The round neckline is trimmed with narrow delicate white lace as are the arm holes. The bodice has a lovely smocking pattern across the chest with five flowers woven into the smocking with narrow delicate lace trimming the lowere portion of the smocking. Also, just above the smocking in the center of the bodice is a lowercase letter "a" embroidered in white thread. There are two covered buttons (one at each shoulder) to fasten the romper closed. The romper also has hidden snaps in the crotch which go down each leg to the ankle. The ankle portion of the romper has elastic so that the romper fits closely around your little one's ankes. The tag on the romper indicates that it is 1-3 months size however, please see measurements below for correct fit.
