- 'An Artist's Models' published in 1930. This is a genuine item, not a copy or reprint, guaranteed 85+ years old -excellent condition no foxing or staining.

Paralysed fox terrier

Cecil Aldin of the most popular artists of his era, first worked as a magazine illustrator but became known on both sides of the Atlantic as a talented sporting artist . His personal interests included fox-hunting, horse-racing, golfing and the countryside and his illustrations included all these subjects and more including pastoral scenes, cathedrals and London gentry but it is for his charming and often humorous dog illustrations that he is most remembered.
His affection for dogs, shines out of every one of illustrations and his understanding of all things canine allowed him to create works of art that were at the time said 'to capture the very soul of the dog'.

This is matted (mounted) and framed to give as a wonderful present.
Ideal unique present for any dog lover.
Size of mount on original print is 8" x 6" set in frame - overall size 9" x 7" - Frame is black with silver outer edge and silver inner inset.

All framed prints are wrapped in bubblewrap with protective enclosures and package is marked Fragile and Handle with care for their protection.
