Label: Handmade
Material: Silk Velvet, Sequins
Condition: Very Good, this gown is structurally very sound and sturdy. There are a handful of small flaws that are hard to spot: The sequins of this time were usually sewn onto a piece of netting, then onto the dress. In some spots, you can see the netting where it was sewn onto the dress. From afar, hard to spot. There are a handful of tiny (talking .5" or less) light crushes on the silk velvet. These may be able to be steamed out by your professional dry cleaner. There is a small 2" repair in the velvet, on the left side near the ankle - its hardly seen - Lastly, there is a nickle sized spot, about a shade lighter than the deep purple/plum velvet, right above the left knee. The spot is SO hard to spot, it would not -photograph, but it can be seen in the direct sunlight, so if you are wearing this dress at night - no one will ever know! This dress is rare, sexy and quite amazing - these tiny flaws are a drop in the bucket to the WOW factor this dress has!
