A quaich or loving cup is a small bowl with two handles or two knobs, dating back to Scotland. This traditional Scottish drinking vessel was used in weddings and ceremonies to drink from. It was also used to offer a guest a cup of welcome and also as a farewell drink, usually a dram of whiskey.

The bowl measures 5"W (7" including handles) and hold 7 oz. Glazed in our deep red agate glaze with white cascading on the rim.

As with all handmade pottery slight variation may occur in color and size.

All work is fully functional, food safe, as well as dishwasher and microwave safe.
Our glazes never contain lead.

Everything here in our shop has been handmade by husband and wife potters JR and Kristen Page.

Gift wrapping is available upon request for no additional charge.
