Baby's First Neuroscience Textbook!

It's never too early to prepare for a career in brain research. This cloth book is a special gift for the baby or whiny grad student in your life. It will teach and entertain with its bright contrasting patterns and engaging crinkle sound.

Your book will be very similar to the book pictured, with the same design, fabrics and colors but possibly with slight variations due to the handmade nature.

Upcycled fabric appliqués, some machine-stitched and some hand-stitched with embroidery thread, depict: a neuron, cerebrum and cerebellum, synapse, and action potential.

This book has six pages, plus the front and back covers. It measures approximately 10" X 4 3/4" when open, not including the Velcro tab closure. The background fabric is tan and white linen. All fabric is upcycled from cleaned, gently-used clothing and vintage fabric.

In addition to batting for thickness, I've sewn a clean, safe, post-consumer food-grade plastic inside every page to create the wonderful crinkly sound that babies and even some adults love!

The book is made by hand in a smoke-free environment. Babies should always be supervised in play. Spot clean with a damp cloth, and air dry.
