This is a custom order for Sara. If you are not Sara please do not purchase this item.

Please note: This item is made once ordered so there is no current stock.

This board measures approx 44”high x 33 “ wide x 2.5” deep and is a significantly larger than most of my other bulletin boards. Measurements are taken from the outermost edges (width is measured from the edges of the crown molding on the top of the board). Main board width is 30" wide to the outside edges. It is made from poplar, painted with black milk paint , distressed lightly to show as if it as been used for years, then clear coated with a hand applied satin polyurethane (still has some shine to it as you can see in the photos). The wood frame has a nice detail around the chalk and cork board. Two grooves are cut into the shelf to provide a spot to keep chalk or pencils from sliding off.

All sizes are approximate (see image of sketch for more info);

- Cork is approx size 24" wide x 14 tall (top).
- Chalk Board is approx 24" wide x 14" tall (middle).
- Mail Slot size is approx 23" wide x 1 3/8" x 3" deep - Insert a divider in the middle of slot.
- Color - Black
- Hook Type - Oil Rubbed Bronze (black) x 5
- Keyhole slots to be cut into the back to support the board when hanging on the wall.
- No Delivery...to be picked up (to be arranged at time of completion).

This item is custom made once ordered.

Please note: Current build time is approx 6 weeks. I am going to be away from my shop from Nov 1 - 16, 2012. If the 6 week time frame overlaps this period, this time would need to be added on to the 6 weeks. Build times are approximate and can fluctuate depending on work load but I always do my best to try to meet this delivery time.

Frequently asked questions about Rozemake

Absolutely. I can use almost any color! As a reference you can use either the Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams Color charts to make selections. There is an additional charge of $25 CAD and the color change only applies to painted items. If you would like this option just let me know the color you would like through a message and I will create a custom order for you to purchase. Ready to ship items can not have color changes. If you have any additional questions please feel free to ask! For those looking to match or figure out how the white will look with trim....I use Benjamin Moore Colour #CC-40 “CLOUD WHITE”.
In most cases yes. There are some limitations due to the existing size of some inserts (most notably the calendar dry erase items) and shipping constraints, but size changes can usually be accommodated. The charge for custom size or design changes depends on the specifics of what the changes are but if you contact me and let me know what sort of changes you would like I can put a price together for you which will include any possible shipping charge changes.
Well...monitor settings and pics can always leave a bit question when it comes to colour. I do my best to make sure the photos are accurate. For reference here is some info for the colors used. Barn Red and Yellow are both milk paint so I am working on getting an accurate x-reference for these. Please contact me if you are looking for the Red or Yellow color information.

Black - Black
White - Benjamin Moore Colour #CC-40 “CLOUD WHITE”
Brown - Benjamin Moore Colour #2114-10 “BITTERSWEET CHOCOLATE”
It's not just the time to build, but the time to keep up with the demand. I've been very busy with orders coming in and I'm a one man show. I build items in the order they are placed except where I see opportunity to build multiples of a single item that will reduce the time for everyone. I may take a little longer than some, but I will never cheat on quality and if that means taking just a little longer to build it right then that's how it needs to be. Like my better half says; It may take a little longer now, but years from now all you will say is that it is a high quality item, not that it took 8-10 weeks. This is my goal. (and to keep all my fingers)
I give each item the attention and time it deserves and I only use materials that I feel is of the highest quality...lumber, hardware, inserts, finish, etc. I work by hand and believe the prices are fair considering what goes into each piece. Prices are in $CAD so there may be some fluctuation based on the current exchange rate if viewing in $USD or other currency (this can also explain the price not being rounded off in currencies other than CAD). My goal is to make items that will last that can be passed on to future generations. As my banner says...."Heirlooms in the making".
I insure all items that leave my shop. If there is damage I ask that photo's be sent to me of the box and the item damage so I can make an insurance claim with the postal service. The final resolution will depend on the circumstances but my goal is to ensure you are happy with the outcome. These things happen very rarely but by no means think that you are responsible to sort things out, we'll get through it together. In cases where the item is lost in shipment it would be treated similarly but would be dependent on the postal service finishing an investigation.
For USA and Canada orders typical time is about 5 business days.
For Ontario orders it is usually a little shorter at 3-4 business days.
Local orders in the Greater Toronto Area can be in 1-2 business days.
For overseas the shipping time can vary but Canada Post does advise that times can exceed 4 weeks.
NOTE: These times are estimates and can be exceeded in some cases..for example, in my experience January and February are notorious for having longer delivery times.
For places not included above just let me know and I'll look it up for you. Times are also communicated when items are being shipped.
Tracking with Canada Post and the USPS can be done through Etsy in your order section or at www.canadapost.ca / www.usps.com.
Absolutely....if you are interested just send me a note and I can let you know the cost and if the requested number of hooks will fit on any given design. For ready to ship items this can not be accommodated.
I do occasionally offer items that are already made but for the most part most customers are looking for customization for insert type (cork/chalkboard/dry erase/calendar, color, size, hook type, etc...). It was just too difficult to provide for every version of an item so instead I decided to focus on the customization of certain designs to ensure I provide the perfect item for my customers.
