We specialize in creating custom carved wood signs... designing; carving; and finishing that special, one-of-a-kind gift, that will last a lifetime. With our many years of experience, we will use our discretion to slightly adjust the layout depending on the personalized information, art, and size purchased. We do not consider the knots and grains that run through the text; art; or background of the sign, to be a defect, as it shows the natural beauty of the wood. Placement of knots and grains is uncontrollable.

This listed item is premade and ready for shipment, it is not able to be changed. However, we can make a personalized item for you. If you want to make changes, please contact us before purchasing this item as we may not be able to customize it as you'd like. If we can, there is an upgrade for the changes.

3--- SELLER AND STORE POLICIES ---

TURN-A-ROUND - SHIPPING
All orders placed will be made in a first come, first serve basis. We will take approximately 3-8 business days to complete the sign (depending on season) and approximately 3-5 business days for shipping within the 48 states. Pre-made/ ready for shipment signs will ship from here (MN) within 48 business hours.
There is an additional charge for states and territories outside of the 48 states due to high shipment costs. I apologize for this charge.

ADDRESS CHANGES
If you wish to change the shipping address (within the 48 states), it must be done at checkout, in the shipment details. Sorry, no exceptions. There is an additional charge for the re-shipment if the package is returned to us.

EXPEDITING ORDERS
We no longer expedite/ express ship due to damages and losses, no exceptions.

PROOFING
A proof can be requested on the order notes, HOWEVER, there are policies we all must follow. We usually send the proof within 24-48 hours of the order being placed. We must get your reply within 48 hours of the proof being sent as we are on a set timeline for completion, via website policies. If we do not get your reply within 48 hours, the sign will be carved as the proof design was sent.
Proofs are done in a first come, first serve basis.

COMMUNICATION (telephone)
We no longer communicate via telephone due to privacy issues. Questions can be sent through Esty conversation. We will also have a record for communications this way. No exceptions.

MISTAKES
If there is a mistake on our part, we will re-make and re-ship the sign with no extra cost to you. If there is a mistake on your part, we regret that we cannot re-make or re-ship the sign without charging again.

ART PATTERN and TEXT LAYOUT CHANGES
If you wish to change any of the art patterns or text layout, please email first before purchasing. There may be an upgrade/new design charge for the new design.

OUTDOOR SIGN STATEMENT**FINISHING OF SIGNS
We do not recommend that are carved wood signs be placed outdoors in the direct elements. The weather, including humidity, can wear the finish off and damage the sign. We put an indoor/outdoor sealant on 5 sides of our signs (not the back- so it can breathe).
If a person decides to place the sign outside, we suggest they have partial protection from all the elements and that a sealant be re-applied annually.
We are sorry but we cannot guarantee a sign that has been placed outside.

PICTURES OF COMPLETED SIGNS
Because we do not have the manpower and time, we DO NOT send pictures of the completed signs. We are sorry, as many of you will not see the product if it is shipped elsewhere, but perhaps the recipient would be gracious enough to take and send a photo for you.

COLORING OF COMPLETED SIGNS
Our 3 toned, brown stained signs are all done in the same colors and sealant... Each piece of wood can take the stain and sealant differently. You will see these differences in the photographs on our store page. We cannot control the shade, that the piece of wood comes out... it may be darker or lighter than the next piece.
The lighting in photography also plays a part in how the coloring comes off on the sign.
Each computer monitor settings can also play a part in how the coloring is displayed.

GRAMMAR FOR NAMES- used by Lovejoystore and 3DWoodWorks
Although it can be quite confusing, and it seems each person is taught differently, WE use this format for name grammar. Please be exact and over specify if you do not want to the name written as we state here. Please be VERY ACCURATE, as we CAN NOT change it once it has been carved and unfortunately that can get costly for you. Email with questions if need be, THANK YOU!

_____POSSESIVE SURNAME FORM--
example: "The Taylor's, we will make it as "The TAYLOR'S".
example: Brandon, we will make it Brandon's
***Generally, people intend this form to be for the couple's home/house--as in, it is theirs. --you will more or less need to add the apostrophe to your order for us to add it.

_____POSSESIVE SURNAME FORM ENDING IN 'S'--
example: Jess, we will carve it as Jess'.
example: The Davis', Est. 1956. Names ending in 's' will have the apostrphe at the end of the name. Many send the names as "The Davis's" and that is okay too but we do not do it this way UNLESS you request it. --You will need to add the apostrophe where you want it, otherwise we will add it at the end.
***Generally, people intend this form to be for the couple's home/house--as in, it is theirs.

_____PLURAL SURNAME FORM -- we will add an 'S' at the end of the name. So, if you send the order with: Smith-- we will carve "The Smiths". Generally, people intend this form to be about "the couple/family" two or more.

_____PLURAL SURNAME FORM ENDING IN 'S'-- we will add an 'ES' at the end of the name. So, if send the order with: Davis, Mike and Cathy -- we will carve "The DAVISES, Mike and Cathy". Generally, people intend this form to be about "the couple/family" two or more.

_____McNames ***We will use our discretion when we are dealing with McNames (and others like these).
It is grammatically correct to have the name written McName as McNAME...For example McDONALD.
We have to use McNAME as such, on certain designs because of the carving style. Others, we do not have to but again, we will use our discretion.
*** if you choose to have the 'C' all caps, (MCNAME), YOU WILL NEED TO REQUEST THIS ON YOUR ORDER!! no exceptions.
***IF YOU WRITE IT AS MCNAME, THEN WE WILL CARVE IT AS MCNAME (all caps), depending on the carving.
***IF YOU WRITE IT AS McName, WE WILL CARVE IT AS McNAME or McName, depending on the carving.
