Oh boy, a Polaroid! Yay! I love Polaroids. I especially love Polaroids that use Polaroid peel-apart film, which has been discontinued but is still available on ebay, or the inexpensive Fuji equivalent, FP100-b or FP100-c (black and white and color films, respectively).

So, let's get to know the Polaroid Automatic 125, shall we? This was produced by Polaroid in 1965-7. This camera has 2 aperture settings, B&W and Color.

This camera is a pseudo rangefinder, focusing by looking through the viewfinder and lining up the yellow lines. The camera has a detachable case covering for the front of the camera - you can unclip it from the bottom, or just flip it down while you're using it.

The shutter seems to work just fine. The lens does have a small amount of what might be fungus in it. The camera does need a new battery before it can be used. (Note - the inside of the camera says it uses an Eveready #532 battery - the A24PX battery is just the modern equivalent of that. Don't be alarmed.) The battery compartment is clean, as is the center film compartment. The rollers are also clean and roll smoothly.

Fuji makes replacement packfilm for these types of Polaroid pack film cameras. They are readily available online or in photo shops.

A manual for this camera can be found online here: http://www.butkus.org/chinon/polaroid_cameras/polaroid_cameras.htm

Camera size - 8" x 6" x 3.5"
