The timeless Thonet B9 arm chair. Originally designed in 1904, this modernist chair was designed by Michael Thonet and August Thonet with their iconic bentwood process and put together with only six pieces. It's no wonder why it became an obvious choice for some of the worlds greatest architects, including Le Corbusier, Mart Stam, and Mies Van der Rohe, to feature in their buildings and environments.

This chair features such sculptural beauty. Everywhere I place this chair, it simply feels right. It's airy design and great color will add that perfect accent to any room.

Structurally the chair is in good condition, but it's open and airy design makes it slightly delicate, so I wouldn't recommend using it as a desk chair. Using it at a dining table, or as an accent / side chair would be it's ideal use.

Visually, the wood has age appropriate wear with minor scuffs here and there.

33" Tall x 22.5" Wide x 19.5" Deep

I can ship the chair via Greyhound or FedEx. Contact me for a quote. I am also open to local pickups. I am about 1 hour 45 minutes from Manhattan or Brooklyn New York and about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Springfield Mass.
