this is an endearing piece. it is a perpetual calendar in great vintage condition. measuring approximately 2" wide x 3" high x 2 3/4" long this novelty datekeeper needs to electrical outlets. thus, it is an early eco trend. is it signed just inside one of the walls at base (the side below the month and day rolls) and comes without a covering for the base. it turns and moves with ease. the months and days turn with ease and remain on the intended time. they do not drop down involuntarily. there is some patina to this item, but this makes it all the more beautiful. it seems to have been a souvenir piece from old time Kentucky derby days. a lovely desk, office or home accent.
