Poor Mr. Whiskers! Maggie has invited him to share Thanksgiving dinner, but Grandmother invited dapper dude Mr. Horace and the two men couldn't be more different. Mr. Whiskers is a bit rough around the edges, while Mr. Horace is charm itself, a point that Grandmother makes all too frequently. To make matters worse, Grandmother is certain that Mr. Whiskers is out to steal her much coveted Thanksgiving Cranberry Bread recipe (for which bakers all over the world have offered top dollar). In a glorious example of not judging book by its cover, however, it turns out that Mr. Horace is the recipe thief and Mr. Whiskers nabs him just in time. To make matters even better, the book ends with a copy of Grandmother's recipe so that your family can enjoy it this holiday season too.

This is an ex-library copy in good vintage condtion. The pages are very clean and crisp with light wear. One page has a dogear. Overall nice copy of a hard to find book.

Cranberry Thanksgiving vintage kids book by Wende and Harry Devlin, beloved holiday favorite, sweet story with a recipe, great illustrations
