Measures 33x37 Inches

Back in the good ol’ days kids would jump off the bus and run into the house, dropping their books as they went, heading straight for the kitchen. Mom was usually there in her frilly apron, cooking something delicious. Jellies and jams were always a favorite. Depending on the season, it could be strawberry, raspberry, huckleberry or peach. Mom knew just how to make it so that
when you spread butter on bread fresh out of the oven and smothered it with marmalade, you knew you were home.

This quilt is perfect for a childs crib or a warm lap quilt. Designed to handle the love and abuse of daily use

Made from Modas, Marmalade collection, the backing is from the Birds and the bees collection.
The batting is Quilters Dream Orient.

This quilt is machine pieced and densely machine quilted with a meander pattern. The dense quilting adds to the durability of this quilt to ensure that it lasts for years and years. The binding is french folded and machine stitched to the front and hand stitched on the back. This style of binding is incredibly durable.

I also washed this quilt giving it a slightly puckered vintage look, while also softening the fabrics. The quilt can be washed on a delicate setting in cold water with mild detergent and tumble dried.
