Vintage 1930s / 1940s cowboy boots made by ACME. Black leather with red, yellow and cream white inlays up both sides of the vamp. Yellow piping trimming the rim of the shaft. Shorty style. Pointed snip toe. All four web pulls are here, emblazoned with the ACME logo. Leather soles and stacked heels with old school rubber caps.

The story goes that these boots were made in the late 1930s / early 1940s for a stunt man who found his fortune doing westerns in early Hollywood. He retired up in the Catskills, and brought his boots with him.

Marked a men's 7.5D, but they run small.
We call them a 7-7.5 B for men, and a size 8 for women
(UK men's size 6.5 - 7 / UK women's size 6; Euro men's size 40-41 / Euro women's size 38-39).

insole length 9.6"
insole width at ball 3.5"
shaft height 9.5"
heel height 1.75"

Condition: Very good. Some superficial cracks and scuffs in the vamp but no deep rips or tears. The stacked heel looks like it could use a replacement and the soles are good. The leather is supple. There's a lot of life in these great, rare boots.
