The story: So, I happened up on a secondhand store in Hot Coffee, Mississippi. We made our jokes about the town. Wonder what people say when they ask, Where are you all from? The person answers, "Hot Coffee". No, I didn't ask, What do you want with your breakfast? I asked, Where are you from? And the jokes went on and on. So, I looked through the piles of vintage and mostly thrift shop finds. One such find was a picnic basket from the 50's. It was a lovely find. I just hated that the metal handle had scratches but it just goes to show that someone back in the day had a picnic and the top was opened many times.

The facts: You are viewing a brown tweed Rattan picnic basket with metal handle. The handle has scratches. The inside of the basket still has a portion of the original Redmon label. The top is in good vintage shape. There is a slight indention on the side of the basket but barely noticeable. The measurements are18-1/2" long x 12" wide x 11" tall. All you need to add is plastic plates, forks and drinking glasses for a great vintage picnic.

If you overpay on the shipping, I will refund anything over $2.00.
