A lovely pairing: small Fenton hobnail milk glass vase and rare Wrisley perfume bottle. Bottle was made in 1938-40 by Fenton for the Wrisley Perfume Co. with cork neck lining and simple stopper.

Both pieces are in excellent condition -- a feminine gift for her vanity or dressing table.

Bottle is just under 5" high. The petite, 4-inch Fenton hobnail vase was made from 1952 to 1984 and is just adorable. Both pieces are included in this listing.

A little history:
In the mid-1930s, Frank Fenton showed the Wrisley Perfume Company’s buyer a bottle he thought would be perfect for Wrisley to use to revitalize their perfume sales. Production of perfume bottles began in 1938 and was a huge success for Wrisley. It also rescued the Fenton Art Glass Company from bankruptcy. Though they lost their contract with Wrisley in 1940, Fenton had begun producing more hobnail-patterned pieces, which were very successful.
