Born in London, England in 1824, William Wilkie Collins was an English novelist, playwright, and author of short stories. He was quite popular during the Victorian era and wrote 30 novels, more than 60 short stories, 14 plays, and over 100 non-fiction pieces. He died in 1889.

Unique Wilkie is designed in a gray flannel suit with black buttons, white shirt, and holds a copy of one of his famous novels. I added a detailed, hand painted face, tiny wire spectacles, and he has a real fiber hair and beard.

Created out of wood, wire, clay, and paint- 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm)
