Othello Literary Art Doll Miniature

Othello, the Moor of Venice is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in approximately 1603, and based off the Italian short story Un Capitano Moro ("A Moorish Captain") first published in 1565. The work centers around four characters: Othello, a Moorish general in the Venetian army; his wife, Desdemona; his lieutenant, Cassio; and his trusted ensign, Iago.

Othello is dressed handsomely in breeches, boots, and gold trim. Black leather sash with royal blue cape, gold chains, and and colorful paisley headdress, and silver sword finish his ensemble. His face is painted with detail, and I added real fiber hair.

A perfect gift for the fan of Shakespeare, Othello is a tiny and collectible 4 1/2 inches tall, (11.4 cm).

Created out of wood, wire, clay, and paint.
