Automatic Electric Monophone rotary phone.

Monophone is one of my absolute favorites! It has SO much character. From the heavy Bakelite body, the beveled edges, the vents on the side..even the handset.

It is working for calling out and in, but the ringer isnt working for some reason. I think there is a mis-wire in there. Could be repaired though. The sound quality is very good on both sides. The dial card has been updated with a reprint. The dial is smooth, but a little slower. All the vents are there and look great. The wall cord has been updated as the original didnt sound as good. The bottom shows the full Monophone label, which is really nice. The rubber base is quite dry and cracked, which is very common with this model. It still does a great job protecting your furniture! Such a beautiful phone, especially for 70+ years old!
