i really have no idea what they are. but they're pretty, and they are old.

i've only seen one other piece of jewelry like this-- the metal frame, filigree and clip were all the same-- and the glass button? was glass in a different style, but of the same era.

i fit these over my lobes, and they work as earrings. you could use them as money clips, paper clips, and add into pretty much any craft.

the front has really beautiful confetti art glass all melted into a mold. the edges of the glass are gilded (not metal).

they measure 1.25 inches.

if anyone knows what they are, please let me know. i've been searching for an hour and a half, and still nothing even closely resembling these. i've been collecting antique jewelry for 6 years, and honestly, i have no idea.

thanks!
