One of the two boys next door is on the autism spectrum. Sometimes they come over to play, and he will ask my name no less than a dozen times - though I think he already knows. ;)

All parents and caregivers of children with any kind of special needs are my heroes, for their tireless dedication; but his mom, Crys, is phenomenal. She founded the A. Skate organization for kids like her son, so that they can get out of the house, get together, learn about skateboarding, socialize, and have fun. It's completely free for the children who participate, so they rely on donations and volunteers. ALL of the sale price of this bag will be donated to A. Skate. You can learn more about them at http://www.askate.org

Now, about the bag: It's made of prints from Riley Blake's autism awareness collection, Pieces of Hope. (A portion of the fabric sales go to the Autism Speaks organization.) The bag stand 9" tall, and measures 12" wide when laid flat. It includes a small napkin, useful for wrapping your silverware. Like all the Jars to Go bags, it has sleeves designed to hold pint canning jars, to help hold them upright and keep them from clinking together. The sleeves fold out of the way if you'd like to carry a sandwich or something instead, as shown in the fourth photo.

Made with care in my smoke-free, fragrance-free home. We do have one cat, but he shows no interest in lounging about on fabric or bags.

The food, jars and silverware shown in the photos are not included in the listing - only the bag and napkin are for sale. (Yes, I know you're not a moron, I just have to say these things.)
