The coin is a large coin (almost 40mm across) which was produced to celebrate the current Queen (Queen Elizabeth II) 's silver jubilee in 1977.
On one side of the coin it shows the queen on horseback riding side sadle. She looks very elegant and regal. On the other side of the coin is the crown which is surrounded by a floral wreath design with flowers and leaves. In the centre is the Holy Ampulla; an eagle and a annointing spoon which are items which are used traditionally in the corronation of a British Monarch and was first used in 1399!
In good vintage condition. Would be a fantastic piece to have on display, to give as a gift to commemorate something special like a birth, marriage etc or to have as a lucky coin.
