WWII Sterling Silver Sweetheart Pin, British Royal Hampshire Regiment Crest Pin, WW2, England, Militaria, Thomas L. Mott

Here we have a lovely Royal Hampshire Regiment sweetheart pin. The Royal Hampshire Regiment was a British Army line infantry regiment from 1881 to 1992. Its lineage is continued today by the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment. The pin / brooch is Sterling silver with enamel accents. It is marked "Sterling" and "T.L.M."

Thomas L. Mott is famous for his Butterfly wing jewelry, but some of Mott's less known jewelry lines are Sweetheart Badges, which are small pins and jewelry ornaments produced during WWI and WWII with British Military emblems, which is what we have here. They were purchased by soldiers and sent back to their sweethearts at home. Now these are considered vintage military collectibles.

The pin is in great vintage condition. The hook pin is a little loose, but other than that, it's perfect! Thanks for looking, and happy shopping!

Approx measurements: 1 1/8"
