"Fighting a Dragon" is a limited edition linocut (original hand pulled print) by my son Lev Moroz. Lev started doing linocuts at 13 and proved to have a good eye for graphics. Now 21, Lev keeps exploring printmaking techniques as well as developing his skills in painting.
The linocut is titled, numbered 9/30 (#9 from 30 made) and signed in pencil by the artist. Dated 2008, it was created when Lev was 15. The image area is about 8"x10" and the paper size is 11" by 14". Printed on beautiful printmaking paper (Rising Stonehenge, acid-free) with oil based printing ink - all materials are permanent and archival. The print is in mint condition.
If you like this artwork please take a look at Lev's "Victory", "Two River Otters", "Bird-feeder Siege", "A Lonely Coyote", and "Sunbathing Lizards" linocuts. Lev's most recent works are about a teenager's school life. To learn more about linocut printmaking please read my profile.
