This dramatic and fabulous long leopard print cape came from the collection of a notorious Los Angeles showgirl who performed in the 1950s up until the 1960s. This cape was custom made and may have been worn on the stage.

The cape is made of very soft and lustrous short haired faux fur. It is lined in black wool. The cape features a decorative edging of black braid. The neck secures with a faux fur covered button and braid loop.

One of the most marvelous things about this cape is that it features long side slits. This allows for ease of movement and a less boxy feeling. The other benefit of long slits is that you can reveal more of your outfit underneath as you move, very glamorous and very sexy.
