This listing is for a double finger or "trigger" handle wide cup or low mug. Distinctive shape make these pieces unique and sought after by collectors. Made by Bennington Potters of Vermont, and probably designed by David Gil, founder of the studio.

Marked underfoot with a symbol that sometimes is mistaken for a fork, but in reality it stands for an arm, a small sparkle is embedded inside the shape of the forearm. Gil designed this mark to signify the spark of inspiration delivered by the hand of the artist. Nice, right?

Cup is in very good vintage condition and measures 4 5/8" diameter at the top, 3" tall.
