I can create paint, pigment or artwork from materials you supply. I'll even do one step better: I wrote a whole guide telling you what to forage and how to ship it.

Keep in mind that all pigments are handmade and come from unique places and materials. When I make a color, that's very likely the only time you will ever see that color. I am always making new ones, so if you're interested in small batch, high quality pigments that are constantly fresh and new, send me a message! I'd seriously love to be a supplier.

Just kidding, about a month. It feels like forever, though.

The first part of the process is creating a dye from my natural materials. This process can take anywhere from hours to days! It all depends on what I am processing.

The second part of the process is slapping the pigment out of that dye with some mineral salts. Which kinds? Secret, that's what kind. All food grade and non toxic! It takes about 2 days for the pigment to settle to the bottom of the container, and if the pigment needs washed, add two days for every wash while I wait for those clean little particles to settle out. Most lake pigments need washing.

The last step is to dry the pigment- 10 days. It's a terrible wait, but when it's over YOU HAVE FRESH COLOR!

The process takes about a month from start to finish, and you can send as many material types as you like. I'll walk you through everything so you know just what to send.

I found a Jurassic Park eye shadow pallet and had to have it, but I don't wear much eyeshadow, so I turned it into watercolors! The binder worked great, has a pleasant smell and the paint set quickly. It didn't take much for each so it went a long way. Came quickly, well packaged, no issues.
